Leonor Ruiz Martínez

She was born in Spain and lives in The Netherlands since the 2000. She studied sociology and demography and worked for several years as a researcher. She is specialized in teaching Spanish as a second language. As a teacher of Spanish she has worked for the Cervantes Institute, the University of Rotterdam and the International School of Hilversum, where she is employed since the 2004.

She cultivates a strong passion for literature. With Tizio Publishing she has enjoyed her first experience as a translator Dutch/English into Spanish, taking care (translation & voice-overs) of Sieneke de Rooij’s series and Chantal Bourgonje’s “Fierce Grey Mouse”.

In her free time she likes reading, going running, watching good movies and learning how to play piano.
